Writer: Justin GainesJustin Gaines

In this week’s episode, the Gen X Reverb crew sets a course for Disney’s Skeleton Crew! We explore the galaxy through the eyes of a group of kids navigating adventure, danger, and discovery in this Star Wars series. From the dynamic characters

to the show’s stunning visuals, we share what we loved, what could use some fine-tuning, and how Skeleton Crew stacks up in the Star Wars saga.

But just like in Star Wars, sometimes the tech doesn’t cooperate. Despite our best efforts, a swarm of buzz droids sabotaged our ship—Ken and Mark’s audio from the second half of the episode didn’t make it through hyperspace. While their voices were lost to the void this time, we’ve still got plenty of insights, laughs, and nostalgia to share from the first half!

🎙️ What You’ll Hear:

  • A breakdown of the Skeleton Crew premiere

  • Vox Vaultstormer’s thoughts on the Galactic Gremlins (aka buzz droids)

  • How the show’s themes connect to Star Wars fans of all generations

We’re chasing down those droids to ensure the whole crew's audio is back in the next episode—so stay tuned!
